A SCOTTISH and Irish four-piece folk band will play at the Mackintosh Club’s ‘Famous Four o’ Clock’ series in Helensburgh next week.
‘Folky MacFolkFace’ comprises Dougie Torrance on guitar and vocals, Eabhnat Ni Laigin on fiddle and vocals, Jackie Mullen on mandolin, guitar and vocals and Nick Watson on accordian and vocals.
The band have been playing live also writing and recording their own material and performing at festivals, pub gigs, private events, folk clubs and on TV. Their debut album When Night Falls was released on January 20.
Their Mackintosh Club gig is next Friday, March 23. Tickets (£10, including a glass of fizz) are available from EventBrite or the Mackintosh Club. Doors open at 4pm and the band’s set will start at 5pm.
