Rhododendron enthusiasts from across the country are set to descend on Garelochhead next month.
The annual show of the Scottish Rhododendron Society will see competitors exhibiting their colourful shrubs at the village's Gibson Hall on Saturday, May 5.
The competition is open to all and there is no entry fee. There are over fifty classes for species and hybrids, and a novice section for those new to exhibiting.
Judging at the event starts at 10am and the show opens to the public at 12pm. There will also be a plant sale with a specialist rhododendron nursery and selection of plants
Exhibits can be set up on Friday, May 4 from 3-8pm and on Saturday morning from 8 to 9.45am.
Vases are provided and help will be given to novices. There is also a photographic competition.
