A GROUP of ScotRail workers from Helensburgh are planning to walk the West Highland Way for charity later this month.
Stewart McKendrick, Colin Burton, Duncan Stewart, Mark McGinlay, Iain MacPherson and Kenny Currie will walk from Milngavie to Fort William from April 20-24 in aid of MND Scotland. Stewart said: “We go hillwalking together quite a lot, and Kenny’s dad passed away after being diagnosed with MND so we thought that would be the most appropriate cause.”
The group are hoping to raise £1,000 – and if they do ScotRail, whose charity partner for 2018 is MND Scotland, will donate an additional £250.
