THE Helensburgh Savoy Musical Theatre Group are staging a cabaret style evening of music, drama and dance in the town this weekend to raise funds for the organisation.
The event takes place this Friday, May 11, in St Joseph’s Church Hall at 7.30pm.
The show, titled ‘Mad about Musicals,’ promises to be entertaining and showcases favourite songs across the decades from stage and screen including 42nd Street, Wicked, Singing in the Rain, Moana, and many more, and featuring most of the cast from last year’s successful production of Sister Act.
There will also be a bar and raffle.
Tickets to the one-off event cost £8 (£6 for under 18s). They are available in advance from First Class on West Princes Street, group members and also at the door on the night.
