TEACHERS and pupils alike waved a fond farewell to Cardross Primary head Liz Fleming who retired after 23 years at the school.
Mrs Fleming joined the school in January 1980 and became head teacher August 1990, a role she held for 13 years. Mrs Fleming gifted the school a painting by local artist Joyce Borland, received by pupils Alasdair Wood and Jenni Galloway.
