A Helensburgh man has set up an online crowd funder to help displaced residents after a fire at a block of flats in the town.
Edward Matheson launched the page to raise money for residents after their belongings were destroyed in the fire in the block on the junction of East King Street and Grant Street.
Edward, who lives nearby, told the Advertiser: "The people who were worst affected by this fire may not have anything left.
"People were asking on social media how they could help the residents forced to leave their homes and I thought a crowdfunding page might help them get back on track."
A man is in hospital in a critical condition following the fire which broke out shortly after 3am.
People living nearby were evacuated and returned to their homes at around 5am.
