Our latest trip down Helensburgh's memory lane takes us back 15 years to a classic car spectacular in Helensburgh in 2003 which raised cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Here's how we reported the event in the Advertiser on August 21, 2003...

GLORIOUS sunshine crowned a unique event in Helensburgh to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Thousands of people flocked to the pier for a motoring spectacular it was hoped would put the burgh firmly on the map for tourists visiting the area.
And the Helensburgh Grand Prix, which also included the Clarke Energy Three Lochs Classic, is expected to raise in the region of £10,000 for local Macmillan Cancer carers.
It involved a visit to the town by veteran, vintage and super cars, demonstrations, stalls, a driving simulator and the historic three lochs event. Sheila Wilson, chairwoman of the team of organisers, said bills were still coming in but it was believed a sum of between £9,000 and £10,000 had been raised.
