A bus service which was temporarily suspended during the evening due to a spate of attacks in the Foxbar area has been reinstated.

McGill's were forced to terminate the Service 61 on Cross Road at 8pm after bus windows were smashed and a scooter was thrown at one of the vehicles.

Now the company who have been working in partnership with Police Scotland have decided to reinstate the service to Foxbar.

The service ran its usual full route on Thursday evening.

In a statement McGill's said: " We are currently working in Partnership with Police Scotland after recent bus attacks on this service! As such, our service 61 will operate as normal, serving its full route."
