POLICE in Helensburgh are appealing for information after a woman was robbed while walking in a street in the town.
The woman was approached from behind by two males while she was walking in Ben Bouie Drive at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, October 31.
The two men demanded cash from her, and one placed his hand into the woman's jacket pocket and took money from within.
The woman was able to escape, and contacted police to report the incident.
The men are described as both being in their 20s and around five feet six inches tall. They were wearing black hoodies at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police by dialling 101, quoting incident number 0999 of November 1, 2018.
