Tickets are still available for a bumper fundraising night organised by the mum of a Kilcreggan boy who has undergone extensive hospital treatment for a type of cancer.

Leann Young has organised the night to raise cash for Schiehallion Ward 2A at the Royal Hospital for Children where son William, 6, had chemotherapy to treat Burkitt's lymphoma.

The fundraiser will also celebrate the fact that William is making an excellent recovery after more than 20 weeks of chemotherapy.

The event, on Saturday November 24 at the Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu, will include a three course meal, a glass of bubbly, live music, raffle and an auction with great prizes.

Leann said: "We have many amazing raffle prizes and auction items as well as live music from Paul Malcolm.

"With extensive experience working as a session guitarist for the likes of The Supernaturals and Paulo Nutini, while also performing as a solo artist and opening for acts such as Biffy Clyro and Crowded House, Paul is not one to be missed."

Also up for grabs will be a Kyle Lafferty signed rangers top from 2009, a signed Celtic top (whole team), a Steven Naismith signed Scotland top from the match on October 11, hospitality tickets for Falkirk football club and hospitality tickets for Take That's 30th anniversary gig in Manchester.

Other prizes include seaplane tickets, a Blacksails tattoo voucher and an overnight stay for two at the Rosslea House Hotel.

Tickets for the night cost £29.95 and are available by emailing Leann_1992@hotmail.co.uk
