FORMER BBC weather forecaster Dr Heather Reid has been appointed to the board of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority.
Dr Reid, still known to viewers of the BBC’s Reporting Scotland news bulletins as ‘Heather the Weather’ is one of five new board members chosen by the Scottish Government to serve until 2022.
The other new appointees, announced last week, are Clare Chapman, Sarah Drummond, Ronnie Erskine and Professor Christopher Spray.
All take up their new roles with effect from today.
