ALZHEIMER Scotland is hosting an afternoon tea at its Helensburgh dementia resource centre on Remembrance Sunday.

The event, running from 1-4pm on November 11 at the centre in West Princes Street, will give people a chance to reflect on the day’s commemorations of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, and to share stories of their own families’ links to the Great War and other conflicts.

All are welcome to attend the event, which is part of ‘A Taste of Helensburgh’, the town’s second annual food festival.

The festival began last Saturday and runs until this Sunday.
