HERMITAGE Academy’s parent teacher association is staging its annual Christmas fayre at the school on Saturday – one of the most eagerly-awaited features of Helensburgh’s festive calendar.
In addition to 85 stalls selling quality crafts, many of them home-made, to help parents and friends with their festive shopping list, Helensburgh ‘a capella’ vocal group Tartan Harmony will entertain at the event.
And that’s not all: with face painting, hot dogs, festive games, a tombola, a hunt for Santa’s reindeer and a chance to visit Santa himself in his grotto, there really is something for all the family at an event which always attracts big crowds from Helensburgh and the surrounding area.
In addition there’s a delicious selection of home baking on sale to tickle the tastebuds – and the draw for the PTA’s Christmas raffle, which once again features a host of fantastic prizes, many of them provided by generous businesses from Helensburgh area.
The fayre runs from 11am until 3pm on Saturday, November 17, with Tartan Harmony in action between 11am and 12 noon, while the raffle draw takes place at 2.30pm.
