A MAN who carried out a violent robbery in Arrochar earlier this year has been allowed to continue with a community-based punishment imposed for the crime.
Kenneth MacRae, 22, of Kirkton Avenue, Knightswood, Glasgow, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, November 16 for a review of a community payback order (CPO) imposed for attacking a man in the village on April 21 this year.
MacRae had previously admitted seizing his victim by the body, forcing him to the ground and repeatedly kicking and punching him on the head and body, to his severe injury.
He also robbed the man of a wallet containing £120 in cash and a bank card.
Sheriff William Gallacher allowed MacRae’s CPO to continue and ordered him to return for a review on December 12. His bail was continued.
