TELEVISION show Fame Academy provided the inspiration for this year’s Christmas show at John Logie Baird Primary School.

All the pupils took part in the showcase of talent, which included singing, dancing and drama.

Judges at the event made hilarious comments on all of the entries.

The show was presented by the school’s very own Cat Deeley, Patrick ‘Feartie’, and judges included headmaster Richard ‘Dark’.

Headteacher Bill Miller said: “All the children were involved from pre-fives to primary sevens, 431 children altogether.

“It was a great show and I would like to thank all the staff and the parents who helped with all the costumes, scenery and props.”

The school also held a science workshop for kids recently.
