GARELOCHHEAD residents got into the festive spirit on Sunday with a Christmas wreath-making class.
The Friends of Linn Botanic Gardens in Cove held the second festive wreath-making event at the Gibson Hall and were joined by lots of locals keen to pick up a new skill and have fun learning the tradition.
Jim Taggart of the Linn gave instructions on how to make a natural base for the wreath and attractive foliage was provided from the gardens to decorate them.
Tea, coffee, juice and home baking was also available on the day and the event was sponsored by the Olde Christmas Shoppe in Helensburgh.
There was a similar turn out to last year and everybody seemed to go away very pleased with their creations which will no doubt be hanging pride of place in homes throughout the village.
