HELENSBURGH’S popular annual extravaganza of Carols for Christmas, “Come and Sing”, raised £2,702 for Cancer Research UK.

And a cheque was presented to Lorna Johnston of Cancer Research after the morning service at West Kirk on Sunday.

The Rev David W. Clark said: “Come and Sing has become an essential part of Helensburgh Christmas for many people.”

Pictured are Lorna Johnston with Walter Blair, organist and choirmaster; Stephanie Mitchell, who did much of the organising, and members of the West Kirk choir who led the singing.
