Our latest rummage in the Advertiser's archives takes us back 10 years to the first Burns supper held by the reborn Helensburgh Burns Club in 2009.

THE recently resurrected Helensburgh Burns Club held its first Burns Supper in the Masonic Hall on Saturday.
The event was a sell-out and proved so popular that plans are already being made to hold next year’s supper in the Victoria Halls. Colin Lawrie piped in the haggis, a duty his own father performed at the club’s last meeting in 1951.
