A 36-YEAR-OLD man from Garelochhead was arrested last weekend for allegedly possessing two knives while approaching a bar in the village.
Police were called out to Main Road at around 10.45pm on Friday, February 1 after customers allegedly observed a male walking towards the premises in possession of a kitchen knife.
Reports state that the male had earlier been refused alcohol and had become abusive while inside the property.
It is alleged that a witness spoke with the man outside and managed to persuade him to hand over two knives.
Officers arrested the man for the alleged possession and disorder offences and he was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
