A CHARITY concert in Helensburgh which raised more than £4,000 last year for two worthy causes is being held for a second time on Sunday.
Matinee at the Musicals 2, taking place at the Tower Digital Arts Centre on February 24, follows on from the event which was held last year to raise vital funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity and Myeloma UK.
This year’s event, as well as raising funds for those two charities again, will also be a fundraiser for The Tower itself.

A talented cast will perform songs from a variety of stage musicals, such as Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, Oliver! and The Greatest Showman.
It is the latest fund-raiser organised by Donna Hicks, who has been behind many such events since being diagnosed with myeloma, a type of cancer that develops from cells in the bone marrow, in September 2014.
The concert will be held at 2.30pm, and then again at 7.30pm. The evening performance will see Urbanix Street School of Dance join the cast, which consists of 20 adults and 22 children.
Tickets (£10.50) can be purchased from The Tower box office in person or online at www.helensburghboxoffice.com. The event took days to sell out last year - so move fast!
