Dates have been set for the next Scotland food and drink festival at Loch Lomond Shores.

Organisers say the festival, on April 6 and 7, will be bigger and better than ever with chef demonstrations, food and drink producers from across the UK and beyond, live music, kids entertainment, stylish bars and so much more.

This free annual festival is returning after a break in 2018.

While national and international brands will be showcased at the event, local talent is heavily featured through cooking and music.

Local lad Martin Sweeney, now a top chef in London, will be on hand to share his huge culinary experience with cookery demonstrations featuring great Scottish produce throughout the weekend, while the entertainment stage will have great local acts including Ben Monteith and Have Mercy Las Vegas.

This year will also feature a Gold VIP Experience for festival goers in conjunction with main sponsors, Loch Lomond Whiskies.

For only £20 they can enjoy access to the VIP bar, a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a goodie bag and exclusive offers for the weekend and, last but by no means least, a whisky masterclass and take-home miniature.

For those non-whisky lovers, the Silver VIP Experience offers all that the gold one does but without the whisky masterclass and miniature.

More information on all that’s happening over the weekend, whether you’re a family or foodie, or to buy VIP tickets, is available at www.lochlomondspringfest.co.uk.

The festival will be held from 10am until 8pm on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April.
