A HELENSBURGH funeral home has renewed its appeal for help from people in the area with a special Easter ‘eggs-ercise’ in aid of local children.
Staff from Co-op Funeralcare, in West King Street, are urging members of the local community to donate Easter eggs to the funeral home, all for the benefit of Helensburgh and Lomond Carers.
Andrew Boyd, manager of the Helensburgh Co-op Funeralcare home, said: “There are many youngsters in the local area who may welcome a bit of extra cheer this Easter.
“As a business at the heart of the community, we want to do our bit by trying to put a smile on as many local youngsters’ faces as possible.”
The chocolate donations can be handed to staff at the funeral home Monday to Friday, between 10am and 4pm.
The collection of Easter eggs will be presented to Helensburgh and Lomond Carers during the week beginning Monday, April 8, and will then be distributed to children in time for Easter.
