FOUR rising stars of the Scottish opera scene will perform in the 'Sunday at Seven' concert series in Helensburgh this weekend.
Lucy Anderson, Sofia Troncoso, Bethan Langford and repetiteur Erika Gundesen are all members of Scottish Opera's 'Emerging Artists' programme.
Lucy is a graduate of the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and completed her undergraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, while Sofia won the Karaviotis Prize and the Salter Prize while at Les Azuriales Opera.
Bethan also graduated from the Guildhall School’s opera course, and her performances with Scottish Opera Emerging Artist include Glasha in Katya Kabanova, Giovanna in Rigoletto, and covering Daisy in the world premier of Anthropocene by Stuart McRae, while Erika studied in Toronto, Vancouver and London and works as a pianist, conductor and music director in London and Glasgow.
The concert lasts one hour. Entry is free with an opportunity to give a donation as you leave.
