TALENTED musicians from Hermitage Academy were the focus of this story from 10 years ago as they helped raise cash for charity.

A MUSICAL feast was provided at a charity concert in Helensburgh’s St Columba Church.
Gifted musicians, soloists and choir from Hermitage Academy Swing Band delighted the audience and pupils alike, producing a foot-tapping and hand-clapping non-stop musical treat.
The event was organised by the church’s Link Group, who raised £1,023 with an auction which will be dispersed to the church and other charities.
Elizabeth McLeod, Link Group president, said: “Hermitage Academy music department can be justifiably proud in producing such talent and excellence.
“We wish to thank all the young people who took part and also to Mrs Lee, their music teacher, for her dedication and hard work in making such a memorable evening possible.”
