THREE fun-packed mornings were enjoyed by children at Helensburgh Parish Church at the Superheroes of Faith holiday camp last week.

Their mission was to find out what being a hero is really about by learning the stories of “heroes” in the Bible.

With action songs, stories, games, crafts, quizzes, and lots more to do, there was no time to get bored for the 25 children who attended each day.

Among the more popular elements of the club were the game challenges, one of which involved covering the leaders’ faces in shaving foam and throwing cheese puffs at them.

The children also put a lot of effort and creative thought into making their own superhero outfits, including a mask, T-shirt and cape, and there were some truly amazing results.

On the last day the children modelled their outfits in a fashion show for the parents, who also enjoyed the fun-fest.
