The garden, which is owned by the National Trust for Scotland, is set to play host to another busy summer of events organised both by the Trust and the Friends of Geilston support group.

Those events began this week with a ‘photo walk’ for the area’s wildlife photographers on Monday, and will continue with an Easter egg hunt running from this Friday, April 19, until Easter Monday, April 22.
Looking ahead to what’s in store during the spring and summer months at Geilston, Allison Hillis, the chairwoman of the Friends, said: “Much is planned for this year with events being run by the NTS and the Friends of Geilston.
