TWO 16-year-olds were allegedly involved in an assault in Helensburgh last week.
Police attended an incident in Kirkmichael Road on Monday, April 8, in response to reports of a disturbance in the street.

A 24-year-old male was found with a hand injury when officers arrived at the scene and two teenagers – a 16-year-old boy from Barrhead and another from Buchanan Road, Helensburgh – were pursued in connection with the attack.

The teen from Barrhead was traced, arrested, returned home and charged while the hunt to trace the other teen is still ongoing.
Both will be reported after claims of assault and disorder.
