A MAN from East Kilbride was arrested near a Loch Lomondside restaurant at the weekend for allegedly assaulting a police officer and hurling sectarian abuse.
Police attended The Cruin in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 28, in response to a call reporting a male walking along the A82 road.
The man, 31, was traced within the grounds of the venue and when spoken to by officers became aggressive.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
