LOCH Lomond Rescue Boat volunteers were called into action in the early hours of Sunday morning after an elderly female took unwell on Inchmurrin Island.
The team were contacted by police shortly before 5am on Sunday, May 5 and asked to assist paramedics dealing with the incident.

The woman was in need of urgent medical assistance but was deemed too unwell to be transported by boat once ambulance staff arrived on scene.
An air ambulance was then called in to transfer the woman to hospital for treatment and the rescue boat stood down after returning to Luss.
