ARDENCAPLE Football Club brings down the curtain on its 50th anniversary season with a ceilidh dance in Helensburgh next weekend.
A year of celebrations to mark the golden jubilee of the club, which has coached hundreds of young players in the town and surrounding area since its formation in 1967-68, will come to a climax with a ceilidh dance at the Commodore Hotel on Friday, May 17, when The Moon Dogs will provide the music.

Club chairman Craig Holborn said: “Naturally, we would like as many folks as possible who have been part of our club over the past 50 years to come along and participate, although it’s open to one and all – everyone welcome.”
Tickets (£7.50, including buffet) can be obtained from Kelly Andrews at Humbles cafe in Colquhoun Square.
