SCOTTISH filmmaker Steven Lewis Simpson is to visit Helensburgh for a screening of his landmark Native American film Neither Wolf Nor Dog – and a special Q&A around its creation.

The story told in the film was sparked by the repatriation of a sacred Ghost Shirt from the collection at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to the Lakota Native American people 20 years ago that sparked Simpson’s first visit to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

The film and Q&A take place at the Tower Digital Arts Centre on Sunday, May 26 at 7.30pm.

See next week's Advertiser for a full preview of the production.
