A 17-year-old girl was detained, searched and charged following a police search
POLICE in Helensburgh charged a teenager with the alleged possession of cannabis last week.
Officers were on patrol in the Duchess Wood on the evening of Wednesday, May 15 due a recent rise in anti-social behaviour.
While in the area, officers observed a 17-year-old female from Rosneath allegedly smoking a ‘reefer-style’ cigarette.
The girl was detained, searched and subsequently charged with alleged possession of the drug, before being issued with a recorded police warning over the incident.
