The Lomond branch of the NCT (National Childbirth Trust) charity hosted its largest Nearly New Sale in Helensburgh for many years at the Victoria Halls.

More than 200 buyers eagerly took advantage of the bargains to snap up over 1300 quality used baby and children’s items.

Tamara Brown-Milberg, chair of the local branch, said: “We were delighted to see the many parents, carers and grandparents who came along to the sale.

“Our small group of regular volunteers had a real challenge on Friday and Saturday to deal with the sheer quantity of items that had been brought to this sale, but we were thrilled to see so many second-hand goods being re-used and once favourite toys finding new homes.

“In the process, we also managed to raise a significant amount for the charitable work of the NCT.

“A big thank you to all our buyers, sellers, and volunteers - we hope everyone is enjoying their bargains!
