TWO people who were allegedly found shouting in a Helensburgh town centre close ended up both being arrested.

Officers attended the close in West Princes Street at 1.05am on Saturday, June 1 and are said to have heard the pair shouting when they entered the communal area. A door was also allegedly being kicked open.

The 21-year-old female and 20-year-old male were both arrested for an alleged disorder offence and alleged vandalism to the door.

The female was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court. She was then released and placed on a 7pm to 7am curfew to remain within her home address.

Officers will monitor the curfew.
