THE summer season of fairs, fetes and gala days is in full swing – and Helensburgh's biggest primary school is set to get in on the act this week.
The annual fair at Hermitage Primary takes place in the school and grounds in East Argyle Street this Friday, June 14, from 5pm until 7pm.
Attractions are set to include a barbecue, 'water wars', treasure panning, a Lego Run, a visit by the Royal Navy's bomb disposal unit, a Beat the Goalie stall, a chance to soak your favourite teacher, and much more besides.
Entry to the event, which is being organised by the school's parent council, is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
