Tickets for the UK premiere of a film by Turner Prize winner Charlotte Prodger are now available in Helensburgh.

The first showing of the film will be at The Tower Digital Arts Centre on June 27, at the same time as it is being screened to audiences in Venice, before it tours Scotland.

Charlotte’s new single channel video was commissioned by the Scotland + Venice partnership, and curated by Linsey Young in partnership with Alexia Holt, associate director of Cove Park on the Rosneath peninsula.

This latest work is the final part of a trilogy of videos which began with Stoneymollan Trail (2015) followed by Bridgit (2016), for which Charlotte was awarded the 2018 Turner Prize.

Alexia said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to present Prodger’s work in our own region.”

Tickets for the screening, which are free, are available at The Tower Digital Arts Centre in Sinclair Street.
