DETAILS of this year's summer holiday club for children run by Helensburgh's churches have been unveiled.

This year’s 'Seaside Special’ club will see participants venturing into the desert to find treasure.

The Desert Detectives holiday club runs from Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5 at Helensburgh Baptist Church, East King Street.

The week will be full of creative teaching including crafts, games, songs and Bible stories led by Helen Buchanan (Contraflow)

Sessions run from 10am to 12 noon, for children joining P2-P6 after the summer, and from 2-4pm in the afternoons for those who are in P7-S3 in the 19/20 school year.

Registration forms available on the day. All leaders hold PVG disclosure certificates.

Children are welcome to attend individual sessions. The club is funded by the churches and there is no charge to attend.
