THE garden at Glebeside House in Rhu will be open to the public under the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme (SGS) on Sunday, June 23 from 2-5pm.
This is a lovely garden surrounding a traditional house with rockery, mixed herbaceous islands and borders, mature shrubs and laburnum arch. Teas and scones will be available, and there will be a plant stall.
Owned by Francoise and Peter Proctor, Glebeside is a traditional Scottish house built in 1834 with a third of an acre of ground.

A more recently added alteration is a French oak boat port with slated roof built over the entrance.
To the front and side there are mixed herbaceous islands and borders, mature shrubs, lawn and greenhouse.
