Goalkeeper Christopher, who attends Lomond School, and midfielder Matthew, of Colgrain Primary, collected the honours ater showing outstanding commitment in their teams. However, the lads didn’t get their football talents from dad.

John admitted: “I played rugby when I was younger until I had to give it up after injury.”

The boys support both Celtic and Leeds and their dad often takes them to Hampden to roar on Scotland when they play at home.
