HELENSBURGH’S latest food and drink festival is just a few days away.

The inaugural ‘Beats & Eats’ festival takes place all day, and all evening, at the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.

The daytime event, between 10am and 5pm, is free to enter and features a fantastic array of quality food and drink providers from all over Scotland as well as live music from Shades of Sax (pictured) and many others, along with top-notch children’s entertainment.

Food and drink sellers will include Island Slice Tiki Bar, Douglas Laing & Co., The Herbivore Kitchen, Threepwood Fayre, Lennox Brewery and Ann Davidson Butchers, among many others.

There will be lots of quality crafts and lifestyle stalls too, including Bonny-designs, Made With Love Candles, Crafty Wee Pixie and Spex Appeal.

The ticket-only evening sessions will feature a series of top DJs – but tickets for Saturday night have already sold out, and there are only a few tickets left for the Sunday evening, when the bill includes Scott Sinclair, Chris Harkins, Daniel Sharkey and headliner Harri.

The organisers, Scottish Stall Hire and Events, said in a statement on their Facebook page: “We are delighted at the support and demand for this new event. We can’t wait to see you all there!”
