JUGGLING, plate-spinning, stilt-walking and a variety of carnival games are on the menu at the Hill House in Helensburgh as Circus Sensible brings its Big Top to town on Sunday, July 21.

The two-person Circus Sensible team will give performances at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, with lots of opportunities for the audience to get involved.

After each of the 45-minute performances there will be a chance to have a go at various circus skills, as well as carnival games such as Tin Can Alley, hook-a-duck and hoopla.

Wildlife enthusiast ‘Owl Man’ will also be bringing some of his most popular feathered friends along to the event, while there will be a pop-up food stall too, selling hot dogs on the lawn. For a separate charge you can also have your face painted in a variety of brightly-coloured motifs.

Admission to the fun family event costs £8 for children and £6 for adults, while there’s also a family ticket available for £24.

Entrance to the Hill House and its protective ‘box’ is not included in the admission fee, but if you haven’t been since the giant protective steel frame around the building was completed in June, it’s a great chance to see it up close for yourself.
