A MAN caught with a blade and drugs has been ordered to do unpaid work in the community.

Callum McKee, 20, was found on March 7 this year with a Stanley knife and cocaine on the A814 near Arrochar.

Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard that at around 2am police were called to a road incident and searched McKee, of Abercromby Crescent, East Kilbride, and found the blade and cocaine worth about £180.

McKee’s defence solicitor said his client had a “degree of immaturity”.

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry ordered McKee to do 120 hours of unpaid work within the next six months.
