THE Helensburgh Summer Festival returns to Colquhoun Square this weekend, with plenty of tasty treats to tickle the taste buds lined up, as well as fun activities for all the family.
The free event, which takes place on Sunday, August 11, will feature a great selection of market traders and food stalls, plus rides for the kids, music and lots more to keep the young ones – and old ones – entertained on the day.
READ MORE: Helensburgh Art Club ready for annual sale and exhibitionRunning from 10am to 4pm, there will be no shortage of entertainment and excitement, and with 40 food producers – including traditional Scottish sweet makers Saltire Candy, handmade patisserie bakers Peninsula Patisserie and Pantry, and Flavours and Flavours with their home baking, clootie dumplings, preserves and chutney, there is something for everyone to stuff their face on.
The street food area will feature freshly made donuts, woodfired pizzas and homemade pakora among the delicious offerings and with 22 crafters also in attendance, the market is fully booked for what is set to be a busy day on one of the highlights in the Helensburgh events calendar.
