AN ICE cream seller in Luss has been charged by police for allegedly breaching the conditions of his licence.

Officers attended the village’s Murray Place on Friday morning, August 2, in response to complaints that vendors were operating outwith the terms of their street trader licences.

Police say they observed people being served at an ice cream van at 11.50am, allegedly before the permitted hours.

A 57-year-old man has been charged and will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
