To celebrate the return of The Loch Lomond Food and Drink Festival on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, we’re offering Advertiser readers the chance to win a fantastic food and drink prize courtesy of the festival.

La Lanterna, whose head chef Luca will be showcasing his delicious Italian food in chef demonstrations during the festival, is giving away a voucher for a three course meal for two worth around £60, while Tayport Distillery is offering a 1992 bottle of their stunning Cassis and a miniature gift box worth £37.

Running from 10am to 6pm each day, the festival is full of great things to see and do that will keep you busy all day.

Watch top chefs cook some of their favourite recipes, enjoy a line-up of fun and exciting entertainment on stage, including Ben Monteith, Kids' Voice finalists Ava and Alfie, and The McAndrews Sisters, while enjoying a drink at the outside bar area.

And, with more than 80 food and drink producers featuring everything from hot food to luxury packaged produce, festival-goers can enjoy great quality food on the day and take home some tempting treats to enjoy later.

The festival’s main sponsor, Loch Lomond Whiskies, will be offering free pre-booked tasting sessions across both days where some of their finest whiskies can be enjoyed with the help of a company expert.

Cooking enthusiasts can enjoy demonstrations from chefs Martin Sweeney, from The Petersham in Surrey, and Luca Conreno from La Lanterna in Glasgow, who will be hosting demonstrations on both days featuring mouth-watering dishes.

The Shore will also be hosting cocktail-making master classes and BBQ tasters.

There’s plenty to keep the wee ones happy, too, with kids’ rides, pizza making and fun on stage as well as the Song and Dance Factory.
