HELENSBURGH and Gareloch Horticultural Society’s next talk is on Wednesday, September 11 at the Victoria Halls at 7.30pm.

Douglas Boatman will speak on well behaved plants, riotous colour without similar growth behaviour.

Founding director of Scotplants, Douglas, who has an honours degree in horticulture, has an excellent reputation for his expertise and knowledge and speaks with his own unique brand of humour.

He is returning to Helensburgh in place of the advertised speaker and will be bringing along a selection of plants that thrive in the Scottish climate.
