LOCH Lomond’s Food and Drink Festival went down a treat with huge crowds at the weekend.

Thousands of people turned up to celebrate all things tasty on both Saturday and Sunday as one of Scotland’s biggest food festivals made a welcome return to the events calendar at Loch Lomond Shores.

More than 80 food and drink producers – many of them from the local area alongside others who travelled hundreds of miles to take part in the event sold everything from hot food to luxury packaged produce.

Guest chefs Martin Sweeney and Luca Conreno held demonstrations on both days of the event, featuring a series of mouth-watering dishes, while event sponsor Loch Lomond Whiskies offered expert tasting sessions – and there were cocktail-making masterclasses and barbecue food tasters to enjoy too.

The Advertiser’s photographer headed down to the event on Saturday, September 7, to take some snaps of everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine.

People of all ages turned up along with more than 80 food and drink producers, both local, and from across the UK.
