WE feature a stunning shot of Helensburgh and the surrounding areas as our picture of the week in every edition of the Advertiser, and 15 years ago some beautiful captures even made a tourist board's calendar.
Here's our story from 2004...

THREE scenes from Helensburgh and Lomond are included in the area tourist board’s calendar for 2005.
Argyll, the Isles, Loch Lomond, Stirling and the Trossachs Tourist Board has printed 4,000 copies of the new calendar, which is now on sale in shops and information centres.
Board chairman Billy Petrie said: “Our calendars are more colourful than ever this year and are packed with spectacular images.
“I am confident that they will prove tremendously popular with visitors and local residents alike.”
A picture of a tranquil sunset over the Gareloch (above) is the image for September, while a spectacular view over Loch Lomond is January’s photo and a view from Ardmore Point has been chosen for March.
