THE drive from Cardross into Helensburgh has been brightened up by bale art produced by the Loch Lomond and District Young Farmers Club.
The cheery creation, which is sited at Geilston Farm, was put together to support the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity and entered into the Clyde and Central District bale art competition.

The Loch Lomond group finished second in this year’s competition, ahead of Bute in third but just losing out to Callander who took first place.
A statement on the Loch Lomond club’s Facebook page said: “A massive thank you must go to the Laird family for letting us put it in the field and supplying the bales.

"A special mention to Robert Laird for his hard work and Louise McArthur for her design skills.
"Also thanks to past member John Maltman for bringing along his Fergie tractor and to the club members for their efforts.”
