HELENSBURGH’S most popular pet, George the cat, is plotting global domination after appearing in national newspapers and on a BBC breakfast radio show this week.
George featured in the Advertiser last week after straying from his home in the town and going missing for four days - only to be found more than 14 miles away at Firkin Point, near Loch Lomond.

That led to speculation that the curious moggy had hopped on public transport to take a trip to his favourite beauty spot, as he has previously been caught in the act trying to get on buses and even into local supermarkets.

And his hilarious adventures have now attracted the attention of national media outlets, including a slot on the Kaye Adams BBC Radio Scotland programme on Wednesday morning.
